Karen Hughes, Former Bush Adviser: If Another Republican Man Talks Rape, I'll 'Cut Out His Tongue'

As much as I don't support violent acts, I can fully understand this sentiment. Republicans, especially male Republicans, have a Paleolithic attitude when it comes to women, and their rather blase attitudes about sexual assault. You still hear "Why were you walking alone?" "Why were you out at night?" "Why were you wearing that?" from them. We have the right to walk alone, to be outside at night, and to wear what we want. Rape had nothing to do with any of the excuses these rape apologists/enablers keep going on about. It's a brutal act of violence.
